Abstract

The cof ee shop industry in Denpasar has grown rapidly, forcing new cafes to create dif erentiation in order to build brand awareness. Atelier Brewr, a cafe established in 2024, faces the challenges of low brand awareness and a quiet evening period (7:00 to 9:00 PM). This design project focuses on creating a video mapping work as a visual attraction that draws attention and interest while giving the cafe an artistic impression, using the cafe facade as its medium. The method used is Design Thinking, consisting of five stages, namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test, while the ef ectiveness of the work was tested using the AIDA model through a Likert-scale questionnaire. The project produced a video mapping work titled Modern Brew Symphony, which conveys the philosophy of crafting cof ee as a work of art, projected onto the cafe facade. Testing with 13 respondents showed that all AIDA stages and the Intention to Visit variable fell into the very high category, with an overall average of 4.48 out of 5 and the highest score in the Attention stage (4.69). These results indicate that video mapping is ef ective in attracting attention and interest and in creating an artistic impression, making it a viable alternative visual-attraction medium for cof ee shops.
