Abstract

Jatiwangi Cup, a local bodybuilding event highlighting the identity of tile factory workers in Majalengka, has seen a decline in audience engagement, particularly among younger generations. To address this, a series of 3D motion animation assets was created, including an opening, transition, and ending, to enhance the event’s visual communication and digital presence. The production process involved three main stages: pre-production (data collection, visual and verbal concept development, and storyboard creation), production (low-poly modeling, PBR texturing, rigging, lighting using HDRI, and animation based on the twelve principles), and post-production (sound design, rendering, and compositing). Key visual elements such as the trophy, logo, and muscular body forms were modeled to reflect the event’s symbolic meaning. The final outcome is a set of compelling, reusable visual assets designed for digital media that successfully strengthen cultural identity while appealing to Gen Z audiences through modern visual storytelling.
