Abstract
Indonesia possesses a rich variety of traditional culinary heritage that reflects the cultural identity of each region. However, younger generations tend to be less familiar with traditional foods outside their area of origin. The design of the Cip Icip board game aims to serve as an educational medium that introduces Indonesian traditional cuisine to children aged 8–12 through visual elements and interactive gameplay. The design method used is the creative design method, which includes the stages of idea exploration, concept development, visualization, and evaluation. Playtest results indicate that children enjoyed playing Cip Icip and became more interested in trying new foods featured in the game. With its child-friendly visual style and card-based gameplay system, Cip Icip is expected to become a fun and effective alternative for non-formal learning, helping to introduce the diversity of Indonesian cuisine to the younger generation.
