Abstract
Berkala-Kala is an online hijab brand established in 2020, targeting Muslim women aged 17 to 35 from Gen Z and Millennial segments. Despite offering high- quality pashmina products, the brand faced declining customer engagement, limited product try-on experiences due to its online-only nature, and increasing competition. To address these issues, this design project developed an interactive hijab catalog that integrates augmented reality (AR) technology and physical fabric samples. Using the design thinking method: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Data was pathize, define, collected through interviews, observations, and usability testing with five respondents via the System Usability Scale (SUS). The final prototype features real fabric samples on each page and AR-based virtual try-ons via QR code, simulating the in-store experience. The catalog achieved a SUS score of 88.5, indicating "very good" usability and user satisfaction.
