Abstract
Pandawa Getuk Chips Snack is a typical snack product made from cassava and has been established since 2018 in Sidengan Hamlet, Borobudur District, Magelang Regency. As a local product that has the potential to become a typical souvenir of tourist areas, Pandawa Getuk Chips requires the development of attractive, functional packaging designs that can increase competitiveness in the modern market. This study aims to design a packaging design that is able to reflect local identity, design that is able to re strengthen branding, and attract consumer interest, especially tourists visiting the Borobudur Temple area. The method used in this study is a design approach based on field observations, interviews with business owners, and analysis of snack packaging design trends. It is hoped that with this new packaging design, Pandawa Getuk Chips can expand market reach, strengthen brand identity, and increase product selling value.
