Abstract
Pati Regency in Central Java holds rich tourism potential in nature, culinary heritage, and historical sites. However, the lack of engaging and communicative visual media has led to monotonous promotional content with limited narrative and interaction. To address this, the travel vlog Mubeng Pati was designed as a creative and effective promotional medium. This project utilizes a personal storytelling approach with humor, aiming to create a light, enjoyable, and emotionally engaging viewing experience, especially for digital-native audiences such as Gen Z. The vlog explores four main destinations: Agro Jollong, Gunung Rowo Reservoir, the Majapahit Gate, and the traditional cuisine Nasi Gandul. The content is presented using dynamic visuals, warm color tones, and an informal narrative style to establish a relatable and immersive atmosphere. YouTube was chosen as the primary platform due to its wide reach, accessibility, and interactive features. Evaluative responses from target audiences confirmed that the vlog effectively delivers both informative and entertaining content, positioning Mubeng Pati as a modern and impactful tool for promoting local tourism in the digital age..
