Abstract

This book is designed to raise awareness among the general public, particularly the people of Batang Regency, of the existence of Pagergunung Village. It also illustrates how its residents cope with the lack of nearby health and public facilities, such as schools, markets, and stalls for purchasing daily necessities. The book is based on data collected in Pagergunung Village through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The data was then analyzed using the 5W-1H and SWOT methods, and the results were developed into scripts and illustrations. The final product is an illustrated storybook. This book contains an overview of the life of the community around the tea plantation with the main object of Pagergunung Village which is the quietest village in Batang Regency. It is hoped that this book will introduce the regional potential of Batang Regency in terms of geography, society, and culture. The book is also expected to support the government program "Mulok Pungkur," which discusses Batang Regency's geography, economy, society, and culture.
