Abstract
Pasar Papringan Ngadiprono is a community-based tourism destination that promotes sustainability and the preservation of local culture. This redesign of its visual identity was carried out as an effort to build a consistent and applicable branding system for digital media. The aim of this design project is to create a visual identity guideline that reflects the values of sustainability and local culture. The method used is Tim Brown's Design Thinking, which consists of the stages: empathy, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The design outcomes include a new logo, color palette, typography, illustration style, and a visual identity guideline compiled into a brand book equipped with AR technology to display animated logos as a digital communication enhancement. This design project is concluded to assist the market organizers in implementing the visual identity consistently. Furthermore, the brand guide is expected to serve as a reference for community organizers and other eco-friendly tourism destinations in developing a strong and relevant visual communication strategy.
